Why I practice:
Accounting and tax are truly their own languages, and I enjoy helping my clients interpret them. Small business owners often find the red-tape associated with financial statements and tax filings cumbersome, and being a part of their team allows me to shed some light on their situation and hopefully remove a lot of stress from their year-end.
Areas of practice:
My primary focus is Canadian taxation for small business owners. Helping my clients reduce their tax liability, and plan for taxes on the horizon is the majority of my day. When clients are looking to purchase, sell, or invest further in their business I help uncover opportunities to do so on a tax-efficient basis. Lastly, I help clients with their cross-border and U.S. tax obligations as I am a registered filer on both sides of the border.

My favourite by far is an Oh Henry; it’s got everything you could ever want in a candy bar all wrapped up in one.
