Edelkoort Smethurst Schein CPA’s LLP is Fully Registered in Public Practice with the Certified General Accountants of Ontario to provide Corporate and Personal Taxation, and Financial Statement Compilation services to the public, Gary is also an authorized Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) e-filer, and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Registered U.S. Paid income Tax Preparer.

Taxation Services

Gary’s tax preparation and planning services includes; personal income tax preparation and planning for individuals and sole proprietors, corporations and other entities. Here’s a sampling of income tax services: T1 – Personal Tax returns and planning (Individual and Family, Sole Proprietors, Rental), U.S. Tax Returns – Canadian residents earning income in the US, and U.S. Citizens living in Canada, Foreign Tax Credits – Canadian residents having foreign income – recovery of duplicate taxation, and T2 – Corporate Tax returns.

Accounting Services

Gary’s Accounting services includes; Financial Statement Compilations (“Notice to Reader”), Business planning, Controlling and analysis, and Bookkeeping (Payroll, Statutory Filings such as HST). These services would typically be directed towards small, private corporations and sole proprietors.

Consulting Services

Gary’s consulting services are focused on internal controls for publicly traded entities (C-SOX, NI-52-109), and financial management and educational services for Not for Profit organizations. C-SOX consulting includes; review of top down risk, business process analysis and narratives, testing, and staff training, to name a few.
